Hana Moll of the United States took the lead in the women's pole vault competition with a third-attempt clearance at 14-3.25 (4.35m) and held on for the gold medal at the World U20 Championships in Cali, Colombia. Moll, representing Capital High in Washington and Northwest Pole Vault Club, became the first women's pole vault champion from the U.S. in meet history.
