Amanda Moll, a senior at Capital High in Washington representing Northwest Pole Vault Club, became the first American prep female competitor to clear 15 feet to win the women's elite section at the UCS Spirit National Pole Vault Summit at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center in Nevada. Moll cleared 15-1.50 (4.61m) on her first attempt to set both national high school and American Under-20 records, also elevating to No. 3 in World Under-20 indoor history. Hana Moll, her twin sister, produced a personal-best 14-9.50 (4.51m) to take third overall, ascending to No. 11 in World Under-20 history. The sisters, both Washington signees, became the first female athletes to both clear at least 14-9.50 in the same competition in World Under-20 indoor history. More videos |
